About us

Three friends, one passion: movement.

We met while studying and have worked together ever since. Our passion for movement – across many different sports – and for therapy brings us together and lets us offer you varied, targeted and individually tailored physiotherapy.

  • Active, not passive. You train with us – so the effect lasts beyond the session.
  • Hands-on where it helps. Specific manual therapy techniques support you when needed.
  • Bright and respectful. Friendly rooms in a classic Viennese building where moving feels good.

    • Mobility
    • Kettlebell & bodyweight
    • Qigong & Tai Chi

Has worked with dancers of the Vienna State Opera just as much as with retirees and weekend athletes.

    More about Oliver

Oliver studied physiotherapy at FH Campus Wien, graduating in 2016, and then went straight on to work at Physiotherapie Pallesits.

In almost four years there he gained extensive experience with hundreds of patients in orthopaedics, trauma care and neurology – from competitive athletes and dancers of the Vienna State Opera to retirees, children and weekend athletes. His interest in East Asian philosophy and martial arts led him, during his master’s degree in Sinology at the University of Vienna, to train in Qigong, Tai Chi and traditional Kung Fu in China.

His passion for all kinds of movement has taken him to countless seminars, workshops and coachings over the last 12 years, deepening his understanding of the human body. For years he has also been teaching workshops in stretching/mobility, kettlebell and bodyweight training.

His goal is to pass on that passion and to show people how motivating and rewarding it is to take responsibility for their own body – and to feel that positive change is possible at any time.

    • Sports physiotherapy

The first Natural Running Coach of the Barefoot Academy in Vienna – running is a key part of his therapy.

    More about André

André studied physiotherapy at FH Campus Wien from 2013 to 2016 and started his career in neurorehabilitation and orthopaedics in Bad Pirawarth, Lower Austria. His interest in active physiotherapy took him to Physioteam Pallesits in Vienna in July 2017, where he spent two and a half years treating more than 500 patients in orthopaedics, sports physiotherapy, neurosurgery and trauma surgery.

During that time he also built on his love of running and brought it into his therapy. This led to his training as a Natural Running Coach at the Barefoot Academy in Düsseldorf in 2016; since 2019 he has been the academy’s first coach running workshops in Vienna. In the same year he completed Gary Ward’s Anatomy in Motion course in Oslo.

Besides go4physio in Vienna, André also works at his own practice, Gruber Physio, in Münichsthal (Wolkersdorf, Lower Austria).

    Physiotherapist

    • Sports physiotherapy
    • Climbing
    • Orthopaedics & trauma

Came to physiotherapy as a patient himself – and stayed. Specialises in climbing injuries.

    More about Moritz

My first degree in agricultural science led me into horticulture. Despite an active lifestyle, I found the physical strain too much for everyday work and soon had to deal with things I’d never known before: back pain, tendon sheath inflammation, tennis and golfer’s elbow. That’s how I came to physiotherapy – as a patient. I quickly knew: this is what I want to do for a living!

After more than five years as a physiotherapist in orthopaedics and trauma care – both in hospital and in private practice – it was time to bring my professional and personal experience into a setting that puts the patient first.

My therapy focuses strongly on evidence-based methods, which as a sports physiotherapist means individually tailored, active treatment above all. As a keen climber, I also specialise in climbing-related injuries and climbing training in general.

FAQ

Good to know

Do I need a doctor’s prescription?

Yes, if you want to claim a refund: your GP or a specialist writes it, e.g. “10× physiotherapy, 45 min each”. Without a prescription, physiotherapy is only possible as prevention.

How much does a session cost and what does insurance cover?

A session lasts 45 minutes and costs €100. We are private (“Wahl”) physiotherapists: you pay us directly and submit the invoice and prescription to your health insurance. ÖGK, for example, refunds €44.33 per session (as of 2024).

Does the prescription need approval?

Usually yes, by your health insurance’s medical service. ÖGK and BVAEB currently don’t require approval.

How do I pay?

In cash or by bank transfer – you’ll receive an invoice for your health insurance.

What if I can’t make an appointment?

Please cancel as early as possible, at the latest 24 hours (working days) in advance. Otherwise we may charge for the session.

What should I bring?

Comfortable clothes, a towel if you like – and your prescription and any medical reports.

How do I get there?

Take the U6 or trams 40, 41 or 42 to Währinger Straße – Volksoper, then it’s a 3-minute walk to Gentzgasse 9.
